Yoo everybody!!
I hope all of you are good/healthy. I just wanted to let y'all in on the next release of mine which'll also be an official single off my next album. The song is called BENT and it's gonna get your asses shaking/necks hurting. Summer is definetely my favourite season and I really want to get some party stuff out. I'm def getting out of my comfort zone... The beat isn't very ''hip-hop'' at all... I found a way to spit on it though. The song will feature a very talented female singer from Quebec City called Sophie Belisle ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kC7Ig77Cgfk). Release date/artwork coming soon... Below are the lyrics to my little verse on ''BENT''.
Peace and love.
Oh hello Mr. Hangover, How you doing today?
As for me I'm kinda F'd up cause of Mrs. Bombay
Whom I sipped on yesterday, Went wild, Made it worthwhile
These summertime vibes got me feeling so so alive
Yeah so alive
Now get ready to bounce
Said get ready to bounce

Black Star (Official Video)
Yoo!!
It's been a while since I updated my blog... I hope all of you are enjoying the beginning of summer (or winter). I've been working hard on this second project aswell as songs that I plan on dropping out of nowhere for you guys. Let's get to the point of this update doe (though... you know... ok). My song ''Black Star'' which was featured on my first tape ''Dreams Over Everything'' is def the song off it that's received the most attention. With all the Youtube channels/blogs who've posted it, it's up to nearly 200,000 views (Only on the internet). I've decided to shoot a video for it... I think it'll bring the song to another level and add something really cool to it. I'll be shooting it very soon... I'll also be shooting some visuals for my next release which is a remix of the song ''Stay'' by a woman who was once beat up by Chris Brown. That's about it... Definetely pick up my latest single ''Mum'' if you haven't already done so. You can cop it for the price you want (no minimum) but $ is always appreciated. A lot of time and money goes into getting these songs out to y'all. So yeah... ''Black Star'' video on the way... Get pumped/stoked/all the synonyms you can think of.
Peace.

Good News
Heyya there :)
I have a couple things to announce in this post. First of all, I've finally found a manager who shares the same vision as I do when it comes to my movement. His name is Josh Benson. He's a dude from California who's currently studying in Saint-Louis, Missouri. He's the founder of Infinity Beats Radio (That's how we met) http://infinity-beats.com. I look forward to working with him. Welcome to the DOE movement fool. Also, I've been offered a sponsorship from Corrupt Youth Clothing. They're a new American brand who are about to make some noise. They pretty much only have caps out for now... More on the way soon ( http://www.corruptyouthclothing.bigcartel.com). Last but certainly not least, I was in the studio today working on ''Mum''. Like I've said a few times in the past weeks, It's the next single off my new project. I really want it to be fresh so I'm not gonna rush anything. Release date coming soon... I'm out.
Peace and love.

Tax Return And I Are Friends!
Yo!
I finally have enough $ to purchase my Mac & portable microphone. As I indicated in my last update, I won't be recording at a ''pro'' studio anymore. I want to be able to work/modify my music whenever I feel like it AKA always. The mixing process will be done by my dude Nico Marchese from NY who will also be producing pretty much every song on my next project (@NicoMarchese). So yeah, expect new music soon! The next song I'll be dropping is called ''Mum''(Second official single off my next tape). In my opinion, it's the realest shit I've come up with so far. Can't wait to share it with you peeps! It will be available on Bandcamp for a dollar and Soundcloud for free download. That's all I have to say for now... Take it easy y'all.
DOE.

WHATUP?! :)
Sup?!
I hope everyone is well. I thought i'd take a couple minutes to let you guys know what's good with me and my music. First of all, I won't be recording at a ''professional'' studio anymore. I've decided to buy a Mac and a very good portable mic to be able to work on my stuff whenever I want. I'll be sending my songs out to a friend in NY for the mixing. That being said, I'm broke as fuck right now and have not yet purchased those two items haha (damn). It's coming though and as soon as I do, I have a SHITLOAD of new content to work on/record. Like I said before the new year, I'm going to be dropping a lot of music (not just songs that'll be on my next project). I have a lot of features going on aswell... I'll let you guys in on that in a little while. So that's about it... New music ASAP... I really want to thank everyone who believes in me. You guys motivate me so much and I can't wait to blow up with all y'all. Have a nice Friday night/Saturday morning/ Whatever yo.

Davie West - Liberated (Thank You) OFFICIAL VIDEO
Dear supporters and haters,
I'm so excited to be releasing the first single/video off my new project. As I've indicated a few times in the last couple weeks, this song has a very different vibe to it. I'm all about diversity and creating whatever inspires me at any given point in time. I'd like to thank Loic Dupuis (Recording), Maxime Jobeeno (Video Director), Antoine Caouette, Remi Van Bochove, and Olivier Lord (Artwork), and Nico Marchese (Mixing). Please share this new music with the people/animals who surround you.
Much Love!

DOWNLOAD ''Liberated (Thank You)'' for FREE: http://www.mediafire.com/?y3m1wql39wnlbn3
iTunes didn't accept the cover art because of the middle finger. I'll be selling all my music on BandCamp. A lot easier...
