 A couple weeks ago, I contacted BBC Radio 1 hoping to obtain an e-mail or postal address where I could hit up Zane Lowe (A dude who has a hip-hop show and interviews EVERYONE).

  I'm currently at a public library five minutes away from my appartment (My favourite spot). I just got a few things done and felt like giving y'all a little update...

  I'm glad to see a lot of you are feeling the new single (DL Here For Free -> http://daviewest.bandcamp.com/track/davie-west-feat-shredder-goodbye). Like I said in my interview with Allglorious (@allglorious), There is no specific theme for this song... I just liked the beat and one day the verse flowed out of me. I really pictured Gille Miller (SHREDDER) on the beat and my vision came through.

Now here comes the best part of this update!!...

  My next album is coming along nicely. This morning, I recorded a minute and ten second interlude (approximately) called ''No Cake''. I thought I'd share the lyrics.

The song is called BENT and it's gonna get your asses shaking/necks hurting. Summer is definetely my favourite season and I really want to get some party stuff out. It's been a while since I updated my blog... I hope all of you are enjoying the beginning of summer (or winter). I've been working hard on this second project aswell as songs that I plan on dropping out of nowhere for you guys. Let's get to the point of this update doe (though... you know... ok). My song ''Black Star'' which was featured on my first tape ''Dreams Over Everything'' is def the song off it that's received the most attention. With all the Youtube channels/blogs who've posted it, it's up to nearly 200,000 views (Only on the internet). I've decided to shoot a video for it... I think it'll bring the song to another level and add something really cool to it. I'll be shooting it very soon... I'll also be shooting some visuals for my next release which is a remix of the song ''Stay'' by a woman who was once beat up by Chris Brown. That's about it... Good News

Heyya there :)

I have a couple things to announce in this post. First of all, I've finally found a manager who shares the same vision as I do when it comes to my movement. His name is Josh Benson. He's a dude from California who's currently studying in Saint-Louis, Missouri. He's the founder of Infinity Beats Radio (That's how we met) http://infinity-beats.com. I look forward to working with him. Welcome to the DOE movement fool. Also, I've been offered a sponsorship from Corrupt Youth Clothing. They're a new American brand who are about to make some noise. Tax Return And I Are Friends!

I finally have enough $ to purchase my Mac & portable microphone. As I indicated in my last update, I won't be recording at a ''pro'' studio anymore. I want to be able to work/modify my music whenever I feel like it AKA always. The mixing process will be done by my dude Nico Marchese from NY who will also be producing pretty much every song on my next project (@NicoMarchese). So yeah, expect new music soon! The next song I'll be dropping is called ''Mum''(Second official single off my next tape). In my opinion, it's the realest shit I've come up with so far. Can't wait to share it with you peeps! It will be available on Bandcamp for a dollar and Soundcloud for free download. That's all I have to say for now... Take it easy y'all.

I hope everyone is well. I thought i'd take a couple minutes to let you guys know what's good with me and my music. First of all, I won't be recording at a ''professional'' studio anymore. I've decided to buy a Mac and a very good portable mic to be able to work on my stuff whenever I want. I'll be sending my songs out to a friend in NY for the mixing. That being said, I'm broke as fuck right now and have not yet purchased those two items haha (damn). It's coming though and as soon as I do, I have a SHITLOAD of new content to work on/record. Like I said before the new year, I'm going to be dropping a lot of music (not just songs that'll be on my next project). I have a lot of features going on aswell... I'll let you guys in on that in a little while. So that's about it... New music ASAP... I really want to thank everyone who believes in me.   I hope everyone is having a splendid day/afternoon/night. Just thought I'd let you guys know how my video shoot went down this past weekend. My team and I got up early and shot the video for the first single off this new project of mine. We got a fair few outdoor shots (was a gorgeous day) aswell as some in a really old/dope church. You guys will understand why I chose a church once the joint drops. I should be releasing it in a little less than two weeks... I can't fucking wait. This song is VERY different. No Goodbye

So I got into an argument with my girlfriend this morning. She was driving me home because she had class in a bit. For one of the first times ever, we didn't kiss or say ''have a nice day'' before I got out of the car. I slammed the door... She drove off. I recently posted a poem about this on Facebook but like imagine if something had happened to her while driving to school or I suffered a sudden heart attack. I felt weird all morning. You never think it's gonna happen to you, but shit like that happens every fucking day. The next time this happens, I'm gonna make a point of forgetting about the argument for a minute or so and say ''Bye, I love you''. It'll ease the tension too... I just thought I'd share my feelings with y'all. Hopefully some of you learn and evolve from my mistake. I sure have.
